Goals Against Average (GAA) Calculator

Goals against average, often abbreviated as GAA, measures a goalie’s number of goals allowed relative to their total playing time. It is a way to measure how many goals a goalie allows per unit of regulation game time. It is calculated as:
GAA = (goals scored against * game length) / minutes played
Note that game length will vary based on the sport. For example, soccer games typically last 90 minutes while lacrosse games typically only last 60 minutes.
